Why you should never blog after taking a Benadryl

Funny, random thought that crossed my mind a little while ago:
Someone needs to do a parody song "You down with OCD? Yeah, you know me! You down with OCD? Yeah, you know me! You down with OCD? Yeah, you know me! You down with OCD? My spices are in ABC!"

And, now it's time for bed.

Doctors Suck

I decided to make an appointment to see a doctor on my day off today. Since Matthew's cough hadn't gone away yet, I made one for him too.
An hour after our appointment time, we finally get taken back to have BP, temp & weight recorded. The doctor came to see us about 10 minutes later. She checked our ears, stomachs, throats, eyes & double checked our meds. In less than 10 minutes, she was done with us.
She fills my prescriptions (the whole reason I was there) & puts Matthew on antibiotics which I'M OK WITH since it's been over a year (or 3?) since he's had antibiotics (& I agree that he needs them THIS TIME). The nurse comes in with all the scripts & tells me I need a blood test for my liver. Uck.
Now you see why I go to my chiropractor for most of my problems. I hate needles & antibiotics are NOT the answer every time. But my chiropractor does believe that all I need is magnesium to take care of my asthma.
So, in general:
GPs treat your time like nothing & walk in to the room with a prescription pad.
Chiropractors think all medicine is evil (even if it's what's kept me alive the past 30 years).
My thoughts: all doctors suck. Agreed?

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve at Mom's.
We had breakfast for dinner (our little family's tradition that we shared with our big family) and this is me after cooking about 50 pounds of bacon. (Believe it or not, we actually had a little bacon left over!)

Mom with all her grandkids.

Our family had a very Merry Christmas & we hope you did too!

Since I have so much extra time on my hands...

I'm starting this blog to help me get my pictures organized. So, you may see new pics of our family, but be ready to see all sorts of embarrassing pics of Matthew as a baby/toddler/kindergartner...
No picture for now, but I'll get some on here soon!
